We will hold Level 1 & Level 2 umpire clinics prior to the season *must be at least 12 years old by December 31/26

If you are interested in becoming an umpire and attending the clinics, please go to www.BCBUA.ca to register as a member and pay the membership fee. Our clinics are then free for BCBUA Members. Stay tuned for the announcement of our spring 2026 clinics.

As of 2024, BC Baseball Umpire Association requires all Officials 19 and older to have a criminal record check which is included with registration.

PRMBA will be hosting a full day of clinics in the next couple months (date and time TBA), with Level 1 taking place in the morning and Level 2 in the afternoon. Space will be limited.

If you are returning as an umpire or thinking of giving it a try, there are two things you can do:

1. Please email umpire@prmba.org with your name, age and contact information, as well as a brief description of your past experience if you have any. This will allow us to determine numbers and fill umpire requirements for each age group. Depending on numbers, we may have to create a waitlist.

2. Once we hear from you, we will reply and let you know if you have a spot in the clinics. We will then ask you to go to BCBUA's registration page by clicking here and register as an umpire with their organization. You will pay the annual membership fee (price depends on age, $60 max).
